Search a whole month, not one date
Mid-week departures and returns are often 20 to 40 percent cheaper than Friday and Sunday flights. Use the flexible date view to see the cheapest days at a glance before you commit.
Check nearby airports
Flying into a secondary airport or a hub one short hop away can cut the fare by more than the cost of a train or bus. Large cities like London, Dubai, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur all have more than one option.
Book long-haul early, short-haul later
For intercontinental trips the best fares usually appear two to five months out. For short regional routes prices tend to stay flat until three to four weeks before departure, then climb fast.

Is it cheaper to book directly with the airline?

Does searching repeatedly raise the price?
